Creating a Wiki

I had a time creating this blog about my wiki. I had already created a blog for an earlier course and tried to delete it--in the help menu, I found out that deleting a blog is not an option.
Then I tried to just edit, WyBears, the one I had since I was no longer using it, but did not succeed with that either.
So I started a new one.

I looked at Ben's blog on wikis. He has posted some really nice links about comparing wiki host sites or farms. It does look as if the comparison is mostly about the technology side. I am interested in finding out about how to encourage participants to collaborate within a wiki.

Frustration tonight. I had started my wiki a couple of days ago, had not gotten back to it until tonight, and now I have forgotten how to access it and edit it. It seemed so easy to start the wiki that I didn't write down the steps to starting---oh, oh.

I got some help from a friend at work today to remind me how to get to my professional wiki. I was able to add a link today, so I am feeling much more confident.
PS--I also held my first meeting in my virtual office at tappedin.org and both of us meeting were really satisfied with the effeciency and productiveness of the meeting.

President Bush looks at blog in Baghdad
President quotes Baghdad bloggers as proof of progress,
associated press March 29, 2007, page A4 Arizona Republic.
In defending his position in the Iraq war, and showing that Iraqi people are seeing progress, President Bush quoted two bloggers in Baghdad as he spoke to the National Cattleman’s Beef Association. “Marketplaces are busier. feel safer about moving in the city now.”
Given President's Bush's popularity rating, I am not sure this is a great endorsement of blogging, but it does show how common they have become.
