Progress--uploading presentations
Uploading presentations on a wiki is timeconsuming, but probably worth it to the participants. I spent about three hours last night finding powerpoints and documents for trainings I had conducted in February. By posting the material on the wiki, participants can go back to the orginial information and easily use it in their own environment. It did make me more aware of the fine points of copywrite law and the intention of copywrite.

Some progress this week and two struggles. I did write an introduction about myself and listed my projects and brainstormed a list of areas of expertise to post.
This is more difficult than it appears. It is hard to write with the appropriate tone in this situation. I know I want to appear professional and approachable. I do want clients to know that I have some experiences and knowledge that can help them and their schools, but I also want to appear friendly and approachable. Deciding which sentences to put in what order took many rewrites. I looked at several consulting websites (not too many consultants seem to have wikis yet) to see what types of material they include. This helped some, but I didn't find the ONE to model mine after. That is probably good--
One struggle I have is uploading a picture of myself. Will work on that this week.
The other struggle I have is learning to use the table feature. I can't seem to get the cells to stay the size I want them.
